Lt Gov Adam Gregg will be the headline speaker at the Greene County Republicans’ annual fall fundraiser Tuesday, Oct. 9.
Gregg is running for election with Gov Kim Reynolds, who was appointed when elected Gov Terry Branstad was appointed as ambassador to China.
Also slated to speak at the dinner are Republican candidates Mike Naig, who was appointed when elected Secretary of Agriculture Jim Northey left for a U.S. Department of Agriculture post, and incumbent Secretary of State Paul Pate.
Other candidates who will speak are Jeremy Davis, candidate for state treasurer; Phil Thompson, candidate for Iowa House District 47; Katlynn Gannon-Mechaelsen, candidate for Greene County treasurer; and Dawn Rudolph and Tom Contner, who are running for re-election to the county board of supervisors in Districts 2 and 3, respectively.
Iowa GOP co-chair Cody Hoefert will make comments as well.
The event will be held at the Grand Junction Community Center. Doors will open at 5:30 pm with a dinner catered by Lidderdale Country Store served at 6. Tickets are $25 each and are available from Greene County GOP central committee members or by calling 515-370-4898.
